After publishing to the CE system, find the report's folder ( IN the CMC ), right-click on the report name and look at the Properties..The ID will be listed. "

This reply was given to my from Turkbear awhile back and it works.

Thank you. I was wondering if there was a better way like to get a report...

Hi,
Better how?

You can Query the CI_INFOOBJECTS in a csp/asp page and get the SI_ID if you know the folder ID or the Name...

Look at the Query Builder app on the User Launchpad to see how such a query is constructed..

My main problem is I am not being able to acess the User Launchpad. I get this error. The file itself doesnot have 3271 lines.

Microsoft JScript runtime error '0x800A01AD'

Automation server can't create object
line: 3271
