How do you enable CFD/Hunt for the secondary DN's? 4

I have a very old M1 Opt 11c. I think it's rls 13.x

How can I enable all the other dn's (key's 01-04) on a 2616 to forward or hunt to 5100 like key 00 does?

like you said, you have a old release.

you can try to configure these numbers 5117, 5118, 5119 on analogue ports. Then these numbers are mixed, analogue and digital. Now configure the analogue ones with your requested CFNA, HUNT. This should normally work.

I only knew Meridians form Rls 16 on and there the sets will follow the setting of the prime DN (key 0).

You could try and change the LHK to 4. Depending on the release if those numbers are on other phones make sure they are set up the same.

before marp it was a hit and miss problem. do those numbers appear on other sets? if so remove them, then add the lhk on that set, and test. putting them back on the other sets should not affect the fdn/hunt.. the problem is before marp, the 1st set built controlled the ext, but doing a change sometimes altered that, and the control went to the set with the lowest hex value

First, thanks for the input everyone!

The extra DN's are phantoms that need to forward to 5100

I have just created phantom analog ports for 5116-5119 that forward to 5100.

Now 5115 and 5116 will forward on no-answer AND busy.

However, (keys 02-04) 5117,5118 and 5119 forward on busy only. They do not forward on no-answer. Thoughts?

Set FBD in CLS of 2616. Foward Busy and Hunt may cause a problem. Both are similiar but FBA will try to follow the FDN. HTA uses the HUNT and LHK.

Every switch I have worked on the CLS FBA is beening used, I wrote a script to make it FBD on all phones.


isn't that wasting alot of TN's just to FNA/HTA an ext. wouldn't making LHK 4 do the same thing?????
