How do you eliminate the "DROP ANSWER" Feature when you want to pick up a parked call?

We upgraded to V3.0 recently and developed this new "feature". Prior to the upgrade, when a parked call was announced, we simply pressed the appropriate PARK button answered. Now we have to press the Park Button and either Drop or Answer in the display (both 4400 sets and 4600 sets). Any quick answers?
Thanks in advance.

Sorry no help but the drop feature is absolutely useless

on the DT handsets the answer release button after pressing the appropriate park button would clear your phone, if you choose the wrong park button.

Can anyone think of a legitimate reason for dropping a parked call completely ?

sorry for the whinge

Try pressing the park button twice to retrieve a call. Still not ideal, but fairly easy to get into the habit of.
