There is no option to delete a specific issue out of the Issues list that comes with Sharepoint. I have an issue that was entered twice and I want to delete it. Any ideas on how to do this within Sharepoint rather than going to the SQL database to delete it?

Creat a status of 'Closed' or some such and modify the default view to exclude issues with the 'Closed' status.

We created one called 'Duplicate' because this sort of thing occurs frequently and we want to hide them.

It is best to NOT delete them unless there are so many they are taking up space. Marking them obsolete/inactive/duplicate keeps a true reflection of what happened. (gives more weight to the fact that you need more resources to manage and maintain these newfangled gizmos).

Works for me. :)
