I am trying to create an e-newsletter. I was told that publisher 2003 did this. However, I cannot get it to do the conversion. Also, does anyone know anything about another program, Publisher Pro, for creating newsletters as pdf and html files? Does anyone have any recomendations as to what would be the best program for creating a newsletter to print and send as an e-newsletter? I have been told pagemaker and quark xpress are good, but we are a small press.

How are you doing the conversion? File/Save as or File/Convert to Web Publication?

For PDF's Adobe Acrobat would be the way to go. There is third party available but I think you get what you pay for. Adobe offers an online subscription service which is cheaper up front but more expensive in the long run.

For our newsletters we PDF the publisher file then upload it to our website and send the link out to our subscribers. Easy and simple. I guess it depends on what the format of your newsletter is and what you want to accomplish with it as far as being on the receiving end.

the full Adobe Acrobat has just released an upgrade which installs three special add ons into all office apps. They let you automatically set up a doc in pdf to e-mail, send to web and produce for commercial printer. It's bloody clever.
