How Do You Configure a 2008 for Handsfree?

Currently when we use handsfree on our 2008's, you can only hear the conversation but not able to talk back. Can these 2008's be configured to have handsfree for both direction like the 2616's and if so please provide instructions?

The first thing to check is whether or not the phone is a 2008 with handsfree, this can be verified by checking the label on the base of the phone, or checking to see if there is a little hole in the set where the top and bottom halves of the phone are put together (if you are looking at the phone look right below and to the left of the volume adjustment key at the vertical section of the base). Second you must program HFA in the class of service, also ensure there is nothing programmed on Key 6. J Cadina IV

What is the highest Version or Revision in a Nortel PBX. Is it 25 or something like that. Can anyone explain a little bit more on the version and revisions or releases. New to this so just want to see what version I am in or release or revision.

just check the label. it should say 2008 HF
