How do you calculate s square root in access??

I need to claculate the square root of 4 times the value of a numeric field. I looked up square root in the Help it tells me to use the SQRT funtion, when I tried this Access doesn't recognize the function.

SQRT is the excel function. SQR works in access.

My help files do that every once in a while.
