I am having issues with a 14 second delay before receiving the handshake screamer for one particular DN/fax number (DID) that is associated to my fax server (new install). I have a 500 block of DID's that this number is part of, but this particular number is also pointed to our Cisco Gateway. This number goes through CDP as a DSC and then a DMI conversion changing it from a 4-digit number to a 5-digit number that then points to the Cisco Gateway. Our network guys are saying that it is not an issue with the dial-peer on the GW. The fax server vendor says it is an issue with the telco. The telco says it a problem with the number, but since the number is part of a DID block and no other numbers experience this I am thinking that it may have something to do with the DMI conversion. Our DID block points to a pair of PRI's that connect to my 81c.
Is there an adjust that I can make to shorten the inter-digit timeout on this one number only? I have tried changing the FLEN which is currently set to a 4 to 5 and back again, but this did not make any difference.
