How do you add users to the Global Address List?

I add a new user and mailbox but that user does not appear in the GAL. Any idea why and/or how to get them in there?

Easiest way is to force an update or rebuild of your Recipient Update Service. That is the service that actually stamps the users with Exchange details etc.

ESM - Recipients, RUS, right click entry and do update.

Check properties of it as well. Might not be set for Always Run.

It was set to Always Run, but I forced it and that fixed the problem. Thanks!

I have a similar problem to this but when I run RUS nothing happens. Any ideas?

Try sending an test email to the new account. Then run the RUS again.
