Does anyone know how win98 clients on a windows 2003 domain change their passwords? Obviously XP/2000 clients can CTL-ALT-DEL and change their passwords, but what about 98 users?

You will either have to make their account "Password outdated" or change them manually. Also, think about upgrading the Windows 9x computers to Windows XP.

What do you mean by 'password outdated'?

Is it not possible to change them in using the password icon in control panel?

If you do so, the password will change within the Windows 98 computer only and not into your domain.

Go to your server, open your user properties, then go to Account. Down there is a Checkbox named: User needs to change password at next logon. Check it and relog in with your Win98 computer.

And again, consider upgrading it to Windows 2000.
