I have a database to be deployed with Access 2000 Runtime.

In development I have a toolbar which calls up the Linked Table Manager. This works great even when you start Access 2000 with the /runtime parameter.

However, when the database is installed on a test PC along with Access 2000 Runtime - attempting to start the Linked Table Manager gives an error -

What am I doing wrong?

You're much better off to write in your own code within, to do this task: Guessing this is an app that requires your linked tables or entire linked Db and therefore I'd advise against allowing the user to have the choice to 'pick and choose' the tables. Either way, you can build in your own code and make use of an array of 'required' tables, and/or their locations. There's many methods to do this, one being to find the back-end Db using the common dialog then once found, automatically link all the tables it contains. There's some pretty good examples in F1 help, or if you need some additional ideas, write back...
