We have a postcript level 1 imagesetter (go ahead, laugh). Company won't buy a new printer. We're purchasing Adobe CS anyway (OS X compatible) but I still need to work on OS 9 to be able to print a lot of Quark 4.1 materials on the old printer. Unless my source was wrong, I'm supposed to "switch" between 2 operating systems every day to do this. I forgot how this works since I still haven't started using OS X (there was no need before). My Mac has both OS but we need to upgrade to Panther. Can I work on 2 documents that are compatible with different operating systems at the same time or do I have to quit out of one to work with the other? Don't know how "classic mode" works--if this is how it's done--and my concern is to be able to print Quark 4.1 files no matter what OS system I use (I'm afraid of files going "unusable" on me). Sorry if this is too long--I'm a first time member. Really appreciate the help
