Hello, i have delta server up and running. How do I view a previous days log file? What is the log archiver?

thanks

rmk

You can view them in the default path;

Default is c:\program files\Avaya\IP Office\CCC\DeltaServer\SMDR_Output\

They are CSV files mostly called SMDR.CSV they are saved once a day and it will look like SMDR MMDDJJHHMM.CSV

In the path defined in Delta Server SMDR settings

SMDR.csv: Today's SDMR file
SMDR(Backup DD-MM-YYYY).csv: historic SMDR files

Me again, by going to and browsing to my "smdrlog(backup2-24-2008).csv" file, this should read the file and display the contents correct?

What happens if explorer/firefox just sits there and has the blank screen up. What are the pre req's?

Thanks again.

I can only get that page working by running a local copy on my PC. Bookmark it as a favourite, then visit the favourite so you have just the page without all the usual frames around it (our just use the links above). Then Save As to save it somewhere on your PC. Run that copy and then browse for the csv file. Probably something to do with browser security.

Never even seen that before. I just use Excel!
