Hi,

I need to turn logging off or log errors only so I can save disk space and resources.

I have already edited /etc/syslog.conf to log mail errors only.

Thanks,

I should have made myself more clear...

I have successfully edited /etc/syslog.conf to log errors only.

I need to turn loggin of for qmail. How do I do this?

Thanks.

a traditional qmail install has the supervisory script for logging in
/var/qmail/supervise/qmail-{smtpd|send|pop3d}/log/run

This file, 'run', execs the commands to do the logging.

I am NOT SURE what qmail will say about not being to log anything. I cannot recommend any approach.

Maybe I can tell qmail to log to /dev/null instead of /var/log/qmail/...

How can I do this?
