Manager for Alchemy, V1.X & 2.0 were not supported on Vista/Windows 7 so I am stuck there
+ I don't think my IT dept will be upgrading my equipment any time soon

still it deserves a * for finding a work around (IMO apps should not be adding themselves as hardware devises devices)
expect to go tip master of the week with this one.

IPGuru, I use Manager 3.0 to manage an old Alchemy system (you can see the icon on my desktop) and that has not caused any issues, I run windows 7

I have Win7 pro and it is not there, but I have not checked my Laptop yet and I mute anything the entire time anyways because I find the sounds annoying.

Strange, I run 7 Pro on two machines and it appears on both...you probably have a dodgy copy from a .torrent site or something

I run windows 7 and i have no problems with Alchemy at all. You can always use compataibility mode!!!!
