How do I tranfer Information from one page to another?

Just started a web design!
I have added a add to cart button on first page I need to take that description of item selected to the next page.

How the heck do I do that?
Can someone provide any tips?

I think you are going to have to provide alot more info than that if want some assistance.
Everything from what server you are using to any scripting languages.
Also, are you developing a shopping cart system??
If so, why not just grab a ready made FREE open source one.

Unless you just want to pass some info from a form to another page and be done!
You could use simple php for that but you would have to provide a bit more info, if you know php and if you haev php and like above, if you are developing a shopping cart system?? Please see my site at:
