Hello Gurus...
I have an RTB (Tich Text Box) in an app which I use as a letter template. These templates must be stored in an SQL2k Table.

The textbox can be picked up as a string. But SQL Server looses formatting when I save the txtLetter.Text as varchar or nvarchar. What datatype am I suppose to use there?

If anyone has done this, please shed some light here on my darkness...

Thanks

Len

Aggghhh, my spelling sometimes SUCKS!
my typing is a bad as a Doctor's handwriting...B-A-D!
I meant to say Rich Text Box in my previous post.

Anyway - I was walking down the road when I was hit by a blinding light of revelation. And a voice out of the light said I should Create the SQL field as a Text field. Then I should not use the RTB's Text property but rather the rtf property and that should save the content of the RTB to the SQL table.

I hope you will all benefit from this inspirational revelation.

B-)
