Happy New Year to you all.
Ive been using ctrl-shift-x and 6 to stop a traceroute , when it cannot get to the remote destination, but this very rarely seems to work.
Is there a definate way of stopping traceroues on ciscos?

Many thanks

HI fella

To stop the trace route which has a number of the hops cisco givce you the solution to stop the same by pressing CTRL + ShIFT + 6 to switch between two telnet session

Thanks for the replies everyone.
Ill check out the above when I go to work later.

Many thanks again.

Yes, ctrl-shift and 6 works perfectly.
Thanks :)

To clarify the other commands, switching between telnet sessions is actually ctrl-shift and 6 and x. Ctrl-c is the break command in the microsoft world.
