Doing it in BCC is simple. However, I need to do it in TI. I haven't found the wfxxxxx obj.attr to set. According to MIBdepot, [tt]wfIfEntry.7[/tt] (Admin Status) is read-only. When I disable via BCC, that attribute changes from up to down.

Is there a way to set it via TI or is there some other wfxxx thing I need to set?

[tt]ifconfig[/tt] only seems to affect net booting.

Thanks for any help.

BayRS at console/telnet prompt:

$ help disable

Usage:
disable <entity> <option>

Privilege: Manager & Operator

The disable command disables options for the specified entity.

disable fr ? | Displays specific options for frame relay
disable ip base | Disables ip base
disable ip circuit e21 | Disables ip circuit e21

$ sho ip cir
Circuit Circuit # State IP Address Mask
-------- ----------- -------- ---------------- ----------------
S12 1 Down 10.10.10.10 255.255.255.0
Enet_la- 2 Up 172.10.10.25 255.255.0.0

Note the circuit names you would enter..

Hope this helps..

To quote Mr. Spock: &quot;I, am a fool.&quot;

I was so hung up on Gets and Sets that I apparently overlooked the most obvious command in the TI inteface: Disable and Enable.

Sheesh.

Well, thanks. I'm doing some &quot;expect-ish&quot; stuff in JavaScript and needed to enable and disable an interface as needed. Now I just need to &quot;Get&quot; from the appropriate wfxxxx object to verify the state change and I'll be done.

Thanks again!
