How do I setup SNMP on aix

Hi,
I'm trying to setup SNMP on AIX 5.3.0.4 from start to finish, but I can't get it to work.
I've edited /etc/snmpdv3.conf, snmpdv1.conf, and snmpd.conf.
here's my snmpd.conf file.

logging file=/usr/tmp/snmpd.log enabled
logging size=100000 level=3

logging 10.10.12.2 enabled
logging size=100000 level=3
community public
community public 10.10.12.2 255.255.255.255 readWrite
community private 10.0.0.0 255.0.0.0 readWrite
#community system 127.0.0.1 255.255.255.255 readWrite 1.17.2

view 1.17.2 system enterprises view

trap public 10.10.12.2 1.3.6 fe # loopback
trap public 10.10.12.2

Am I missing anything..? I can't see any traps in my snmp mngt station.

Read a lot.
Check your /etc/services
Check your routing
Do some testing with snmptrap
Your conf file looks a bit restricted:
