How do I set-up a printer to print wake-up call after ringing at guest phone(Network or FTP account)

How can we tell you if you don't say what product you are talking about?

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.

wake-up call printing from mitel 5550 console automatic set-up. I have four 5550 consoles on a three 3300 controllers in cluster.

From the system help files.

Printer Support
Description
The system has complete RS-232 printer flexibility. Any printer port may be programmed for any application. The system supports both system printers for its own applications (such as SMDR and maintenance) and dedicated data communications printers.

In addition, the system supports a local, serial printer (LPR1) that can be programmed to print: Maintenance Logs, SMDR Logs, ACD Logs, Software Logs, Hotel/Motel Logs, Traffic Reports, or programming forms. The LPR1 printer port is located on the front of the controller.

Support is also provided for network printing of all of the above logs and reports.

Conditions and Feature Interactions
The printer must be RS-232 compatible.

Network printers must support the use of FTP for spooling print jobs.

Programming
To print from LPR1 printer port:

Assign LPR1 to applicable logs in the Application Logical Ports form.

To print from 5550 IP Console:

Program a valid directory number in the IP Consoles form.

Assign names to port 2 in the System Ports form.

Assign the port name (as created in System Ports form) to the applicable logs to be printed in the Application Logical Ports form.

To print to a network printer

Program the network printer connection parameters in Controller Registry form.

Assign a name to the network port in the System Ports form.

Assign to applicable logs in the Application Logical Ports form.

Operation

I'd tell you a UDP joke but I'm afraid you won't get it. TCP jokes are the best because you always get them.
