I have an MSW07 template under development. The body text is offset 3.5cm from the left to provide marking/comment area. This throws out the tab settings required to provide suitable space between the outline numbering of the headings and the heading text.

I haven't been able to achieve any adjustment of the tab settings, leave alone get them to what I want.

Does somebody know how to achieve this?

Thanks

Thanks rsacorp but, unfortunately, Shauna's website does not deal with MSW07 which differs from 02-03. The windows, menu selections and dialogs she refers to do not exist in MSW07. From what she writes, I can see where my problems arise but I cannot discern a solution.

So, I am still looking for an MSW07 solution.

Hoping someone can help.

Crtl+Shift+S will bring you to your headings....and a window will pop up you can modify your headings here. Choose yoru heading from the drop down and click modify based on your "normal" style which will include the offset so your tabs shoud work.

There are many options in this window -- including numbering etc. You can all choose to modify all of the headings according to your current changes.
