Hello all!

I am having a problem figuring out how to send a specific 10 digit number (our main billing number) over an ISDN programmed as private number network. I have Avaya Communication Manager 2.1. If I cannot send our main number, I would like to send the calling party's name and 10 digit number.

Thanks in advance for your help!

Carole

CHA ISDN PUB. Let me know if you need more information.

Hi Susan!

It is a private numbering networked ISDN so will public numbering will work?

Thanks!

Sorry, I missed that part of your orginal post. I don't know, I've never dealt with private networks. Perhaps someone else will jump in with the correct answer....

You can have the CLEC do it. Whoever your carrier is. What do they see now? If it is two definity's you may be able to just change the trunk name.

In the future everything will work...

You say this is a private ISDN/PRI connected to 2 switches correct? If so are you have to use QSIG, DCS or DCS+. These siginaling methods pass calling name and extension between switches.

Hope this helps
