Hi
Oldnewbie helped me with a .fla file I have (oldnewbie is a genious, and the instructions he gave me were perfect!!) I've looked at the other .fla files in my site (it is a downloaded template), I just wondered if someone would explain to me how you determine which layer/level etc all the components will be displayed? I hope I have explained this as clearly as I can.

Many thanks!

Ummmmmmmmmmmmh! A bit confusing!

Don't quite understand what you're asking, and as I've stated earlier, these templates are usually very poorly coded...

It's just because I've worked on so many of them lately, and that they are usually all coded in the somewhat same manner, that I've been able to find my way around them, when trying to edit them.

If you're not specifically talking about these templates, but just on how you would generally attack the layering and such when starting on a new project, then that's probably a much longer story...

Background layer would most probably come first, and then add new layers as you might need them, or simply attaching stuff from the Library over the background layer...

What I mean is.....when I followed your instructions, when I clicked on level 19 frame 100 every single element of the page is visible. What I want to be able to do is to determine which level/frame i will see all the components of any given page....does that make better sense?

Thank you!
