How do I Remove IE 6 SP 1.0? Uninstall opiton not available.

Have a machine running IE6 sp1 with Windows 2000 sp3. Need to rollback IE6 to IE5.5 sp2.

uninstalled the Windows service pack and ran the IE 6 maintenance tool in Add/Remove. Repair opiton is the only one available the others are greyed out.

Have tried running the repair option and also reinstalling IE6 sp1 but this makes no difference.

Any ideas anyone? Thanks for your help.

Have you tried to install the version of IE that you want onto the machine. Or do you want to get rid of IE completly?

There should have been an option to check which allows you to uninstall. Did you check that? Glen A. Johnson
