How do I pull by contract numbers?? any clues?

Thanks everyone for the help on my Date issue that was finally solved!! But however now it's pulling in the dates right but i also need to be able to pull by the contract number...I can't quite seem to figure this one out either...the contract is being pulled in at the Record selection with:

{PMTRAN.CONTRACT} in {?FRJOB} to {?TOJOB}

stringVar fromtostr;
fromtostr:= '[' + Trim({?FRJOB}) + '] To [' + Trim({?TOJOB}) + ']'
//'fromtostr;

this is what i have on the report and the ?FRJOB is set to string with no default values.

Help please!!

Hi,
what problem are you having if you just use the
{PMTRAN.CONTRACT} in {?FRJOB} to {?TOJOB}

selection formula?
( I do not know why you have the stringvar)

If you pass it
100 for {?FRJOB} and 200 for {?TOJOB}
don't you get those records ( assuming there are any)?

yup that got it thanks so much!! the stringvar i am not sure either it was copied out of the other code and it seems to be working for me... some of the thing in that field are strings others are numbers. but thank you for you help it is now pulling the right data acrossed!!
