How do I program the mic for Handsfree?

Hello,

I have a 2616 telephone on a Meridian Option 11C that I need to program the handsfree on. It sort of works, you can select it, dial a number and hear the person answering the call, but the person on the other end cannot hear me. Any suggestions?
