Hi,

My customer wants to prevent people from downloading, printing or bookmarking his logo which is downloaded from the server and displayed on the webpage.

Is there any way this can be done? If yes, how?

Thanks everybody for your time and help

Wow, I haven't seen this question asked in a very long time - surprisingly.

It has been a while since this question has been asked. Maybe because those with the question [red]READ[/red] the previous replies and [red]FAQs[/red]???

Bottom line: Once you allow someone to upload the picture to their computer, [red]YOU TOTALLY LOSE CONTROL OVER HOW IT IS USED.[/red]

By definition, the picture MUST be uploaded to their computer for them to view it.

There are a number of "right-click" inhibition scripts, but all you need is the source, and you can download the logo anyway.

One possibility is to reduce the size and clarity of the logo. That way, once someone DOES download it (for use elsewhere), there won't be much to look at (e.g., it's only a thumbnail and not clear when expanded/exploded).
