I am dialled into the PABX at the moment so I can capture the results from a LD 80 ENTC (Enhanced Tracking Function on a TN). The GOTR is working fine and that's not the issue I have.

The problem I have is that my TTY session gets logged out [TTY #02 LOGGED OUT 11:19 19/11/2003]anywhere from 30 to 55 minutes of 'idle time'. When it happens, I have to LOGI and PWD1 again. Then I have to run LD 80 again. Is there a way I can stop the Opt 61c from logging out the TTY user after some (unknown) time? The only way I have around it is to press <enter> every few minutes - but I can't be in front of my PC the whole time can I....?

Thanks.

YOU DON'T, JUST ABOUT EVERY SWITCH I'VE SEEN WILL DO IT

You can't stop this. You set the LOUT prompt to 20mins, which is the max. See LD17

Thanks anyway. I'll just have to remember to hit enter very now and then.

I'd better go back to it then... [hourglass]

If you use Procom (or somthing like it) can you write a script and send an ENTER to the system every few minutes. Not sure just a thought maybe someone out there knows.
