How do I place a personalised icon in the URL bar?

Hey all,

This is something thats been troubling me for ages.

I've been trying to make a .ico file appear in the URL bar before the '

HTTP://'

etc.

for example, when you go the google, you get a 'G' appear there.

It also appears if you add it to your favourites.

Any ideas?

This thread (over in the HTML forum) contains a link to an online tool that does this for you. You upload your image (JPG, GIF what have you) and it creates the .ico for you. For free.
