I have a RS/6000 with AIX 5.1 at a remote location which has an IBM diskette (SYSBACK)in it. I need to get the rte file off to use on another server. How can I mount it and copy the file.
Thanks...

You don't really have to mount the drive. You can go through smit and under System Storage Management, select Files and Directories. Then select Backup file or Directory and send it to the diskette drive which is usually fd0 on most systems.

Sorry I stated it wrong, The file I need is on the Diskette (/dev/fd0) and I need to take it off...
