In a post on the MS SRS Forum ( titled "Report Header Only on First Page", Charles Kangai replied that:

"It sounds like you have used a page header rather than a report header in your report. A report header automatically does what you are wanting to do. To create a report header, just place a textbox above your data region and type in the text for your header. It will automatically appear only on the first page."

I'll be danged if I can find the Report Header option in SRS. I have a Page Header and I also need a Report Header. Can anyone help, please

Thank you,

Just do as he says,
1)
on the Body section:
drag down your data grid or whatever you are using to display your data
2
add a text box or a rectangle with some text
3
on the property of the rectangle add a page break
4
on the page header option
choose false on print on first page.

this should give a report header

Thank you Mister Mo.

I don't know why that didn't sink in from the other post. Sometimes I can be a little dense.
