How do I Make an Excell file downloadable? How do I get the "save to file or download to disk" option? There must be an easy way... Thank you!

the file by default will open with exell a way round is to stick it in a zip file. Regards

What happens if Excel is not loaded on the client. Or, on the other hand, what if there is no Windows file association for the file extension?

If there is no accossiation then you can just use a normal href :
