I have a default menu that I've created for my application but I find with some forms I want additional options that I don't want in the other forms.

Is there a way that I can copy a pull down menu so that I may use the existing options....and then additional optons to the existing if I want for a different form?

It seems like the only way to do this is recreate the menu from scratch every time......but I can't believe it would be that difficult.....what am I missing.

Using Access 2000

1. View menu > Toolbars > Customize
2. Create a new Menubar
3. Leave the Customize dialog box open.
4. Make sure the menubar you want to copy is displayed.
5. Click on the drop-down menu you want to copy, holding the ctrl key down and drag to the new menubar. (The cursor changes to a plus sign)

If you have trouble, review the Access help file:

"Add a custom menu to a menu bar or toolbar" and the sub-topic "Move or Copy a menu Command
