how do i integrate happy hour prices on micros e7?

hi all,
im a micros noob.just set it up at the coffee shop.i've added all the items and prices to it as well.now im told we would be selling all the items at 50% off on the first day.i have no clue how to go about it.any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered the easier way out, just adding a 50% off button make making sure they hit it? Seems a whole let less involved than playing around with auto menus, especially given that auto-menus in e7 really aren't very .. uh.. elegant. They always seem a bit ugly, in the way they work, to me.

You can even go so far as to modify your cash/credit card buttons for the day so that they automatically apply the discount (or, at least I think e7 supports basic macros like that).

The thought did occur to me,but what do i choose the button as?Should the button be "menu item" or "change screen" or?
