How do I hide blank rows?

I have a simple list report which shows all jobs for a customer. Jobs may have no, 1 or more than 1 sales orders against it. I only want customers to see the sales orders which have not been delivered so have added a condition which makes the data NULL if is has been delivered. But I know have blank rows where the sales orders are NULL. I know I can get rid of these usng conditional formatting but have not usd conditional formatting before and cannot work out how to do it - any step by step advice would be appreciated.

Why not just put a filter in your report to exclude all Sales Orders that have been delivered?

I am what I am based on the decisions I have made.

Thanks for your reply. I have just been trying what you suggested. I have added a filter on sales order status being not delivered. But now it is not showing jobs which do not have any sales orders raised against them. I would have thought that if there were no sales orders for a job it would fall into the sales order status not being 'delivered' and therefore be shown but obviosly not. any more ideas?

Difficult to help as I don't understand your data structure or how it is populated.
Try flowcharting what fields you check to decide whether a record should show up in the report. Then build your filter based on the flowchart logic.

Thanks for your replies, I couldn't get the filter to work as I wanted but I managed to remove the blank rows with the conditional formatting in the end
