I have three(3) MD110s at different sites and want to make them remote LIMs to a Nine(9) MD110 PBX.

Presently connection to this remote PBX is through the E1 cloud landing on the TLU/76 cards.

How can a PCM Link (using GJUL4 card ) effectively work accross the E1 for remote lim implementation?

Is there any other option for implementing remote LIMs?

Are these 3 systems actually "networked" with your main system, or are calls to these sites treated as normal external calls and simply routed across the TL76 paths as tie line calls?

As for the basic mechanics, an E-1 path is an E-1 path --- in other words it doesn't really matter if there is a TLU76 at each end or a GJU-G/GJU-L configuration.

That's the easy part......

You're going to need an "add-a-lim" file for your particular release to start.

You'll also need to have additional license capacity for 3 more LIMS as well as the PCM links, trunks and various extension types in order to mirror existing functionality at those 3 sites and incorporate those features etc. into your main system.

This could be a pretty involved project, but well worth it if it enhances your overall job security.

Have fun,

Dave Strang
