How do I get two extensions to ring at once?

Hi,

I am running IP Office 4.05. I'm trying to get two extensions to ring at the same time. Both extensions are in the same huntgroup but they seem to ring intermittently. Usually one extension will ring but the other won't, or there is a delay where one rings and the other doesn't for about 30 seconds to a minute.

The hunt group is set to collective with no queuing. What might be causing the problem and is there another way to get both lines to ring at once?

Thanks!

You could use bridged appearances.

I was told that if I have a lot of calls on phone #1 but put bridged appearances to show up on phone #2 there may not be enough slots on phone #1 to show all the calls (because some of the slots will be used by the bridged appearances) and then I would end up missing calls? I don't think I understand this because using soft console I can have dozens of parked calls at once.

Start at the beginning
If the extensions are not behaving in the same hunt group I'd start by checking your cabling first... particularly if the problem is intermittent.

If it ain't broke, upgrade the software!

This has nothing to do with cabling
First i would upgrade
4.0.5 was not a very good version

Also i would look in monitor what happens
