How do I get the VFP 5.0 distribution files with Inno Setup? 1

I am trying to use Inno setup to create my distribution disk for my VFP 5.0 programs. How do I get the VFP 5.0 distribution files in it so it will run outside of FoxPro? What files are they? And where do they goa nd how do I get them there?

I had used the setup wizard, but it is giving errors when running the setup.exe it creates.

Have a look at:

for some inno setup scripts

http://fox.wikis.com/wc.dll?Wiki~VFP7RuntimeFiles

Gives you the files for vfp7.
In general if you change the 7 into a 5 you'll have most of the runtime files.

On ftp://ftp.prolib.de/Public you can find install files for most of the vfp versions, including the 5 version.

(2858 Kb) file you mentioned, would that install all of the files that would be needed to run my program?

Ramon,

Yes, with the runtime files for VFP 5.0a you'll be able to run *.app and *.exe compiled with VFP 5.0a.

You cannot use these files if you have only VFP 5.0 because they'll probably will not run your app.
