I've used vlookup to extract data from one sheet & put it into another. I want to be able to get rid of the underlying formulas and keep only the resulting "face" values.

Thanks

two ways come to mind:

1: copy the cells then right-click in the destination cells and select Paste Special > values.

2: Have another cell reference the cell with the vlookup formula.

Hope that helps.

an other way of doing it is to use the hidden property of the cells (Format - Cells - Protection - check hidden). This only works if you protect your sheet (Tools - Protect - Protect sheet). You don't have to add a password if you don't want to.
You won't see the formulas adn your sheet is protected from an accidental delete of a cell.
