I have set a parameter that requests a date range each time the report is run. Now I want to have a field on the report that echoes the date range requested so the report shows the date range that was selected. How do I do this ?

Go to "Insert" on the menu, then click "Parameter field". Find you parameter there and drop it on the report design.

I did try that - the field is blank. The parameter is ?date, whichI'm using in a selection fornula to prompt for a date range each time the report is run. I want the report to somehow show the dates tthat were selected. I'm using version7

Write a formula like this:

ToText (Minimum ({?Parameter Field})) + " to " + ToText (Maximum ({?Parameter Field}))

This will show the date range you selected.
