We have just recently done an upgrade to our Definity to CM 1.3 which includes EC500 (extension to cell phone). I have my extension setup to use this option and was wondering if there is a way to see the ANI on my cell phone for incoming calls to my extension.

Any help would be appreciated,
Jeff

have you turned 'send name' to Y on page two of your trunks. This will send the number of the DID. You will need to do a "cha isdn pub" and enter the format you wish to see the calling numbers. This will show up on everyones caller id displays your DID's call. So beware.

I have work arounds if you only want to show the calling number for calls to your EC500 numbers...

In the future everything will work...

It is a matter of restriction from the exchange. The Caller ID is sent to the ISDN pipe but will only show the directory number.

Thanks for the star. Looking back at my post you should also turn "send calling number" to Y as well....

If the caller id to the public is too much for people, you can restrict it to just ec500 calls. You would have to create a new trunk and turn the above to Y. Set that as the trunk in the xmobile stations 1st page. The isdn pub page can format how you see the caller id...I have it set to just show the 4 digit extenstion. Then with ATT Wirless I subscribed to their 4 digit dialing...Sweeet.

In the future everything will work...

What's this "4 digit dialing" you speak of w/ATTWS? We use ATTWS as well and that would be a nice option to have.
