I've been asked to have 3 keys on a 2008 ring for one number. We set up all of our 2008's to have a line 2 that rings when the first line is busy. For instance key 0 will be extension 4123 and their key 1 will be 5123. I don't know how to give them a 3rd line for their extension. Is this done with a rollover number?

Make key 2 x6123 (or any available non-DID number) and change LHK prompt to 2.

or just program key0/key1/key2 as MCR keys with the same extension. I have seen that at some locations.

Thanks for the responses. Telebub, does it have to be keys 0, 1, 2 in a row like that? Because there is another number MARP'd on key 1. Key 6 and 7 are open but when I tried to put the non-DID numbers on them I get an error saying SCH3683
For 2X16 set, handsfree Class of Service is defined. Cannot assign key
15 as it is now a handsfree key."

This is a 2008 set. Here is the printout:

Thanks

Move the TRN to key 3 and then add another MCR 4750 to key 2.

I added a second MCR 4750 key to it. It says the MARP is on key 1:

KEY 00 SCR 4766 0 MARP
CPND
NAME LAC DDX station 1
XPLN 27
DISPLAY_FMT FIRST,LAST
01 MCR 4750 0 MARP
02
03 MCR 4750 0
04 RNP
05 TRN
06
07

If I now nul key 1 will the MARP move to key 3? It is just that 4750 rings on 8 or so other phones and is MARP'd on this set so I don't want to break it.

MCR is a multiple-call ring therefore when 4750 is called all phones with x4750 ring, one person answers that call all other keys go dark waiting for another call. I don't think Marp comes into play in this senario.

Thanks, that got it working. I put SCR for the actual extension on key 0 then non-DIDs for keys 1 and 2. Moving the MCR 4750 to another key didn't hurt anything. Thanks.
