How do I get a layer to expand multiple frames when it displays

I am trying to create a layer that will drop down when the Tab is clicked. The Layer will expand multiple frames below the tab. Anyone have the knowledge on how this can be done?\\Thank you in advance.

I don't think you mean frames in the traditional sense ... do you? You just want layer which will contract/expand upon clicking, correct? anyway, there's a tutorial on it at

My site has 11 different frames. Some of the frames are small and others are large. Needless to say the frame we are wanting the Layer to open in is a small frame. When the layer opens it goes to the second frame down because the frame next to the frame it opens in is also small. I will go to the tutorial and reveiw it. Thank you for your help. If you have any other ideas please let me know.
