Good day all,

Please how do I generate certificate for IPOCC from the IP Office 500 v2?
There is a customer that I'm helping to build a Contact Center, but after
installing and partial configuration of the IPOCC I couldn't make a successful
call to the auto-generated extension number of the Avaya Contact Center. When I
check the System Status on the Manager, I saw certificate expire.

I'm a newbie to Avaya, please help.

IP500 can only generate certificates for itself. You can generate certificates with primary server or application server.

What certificate is expired? IPO or IPOCC?

In IPO you can set the security for the IPOCC extension to medium or low to disable certificate validation.

Need some help with IP Office? CLI based cale blocking: SCN fallback over PSTN:

Go in the IP Office security settings and regenrate the certificate, export the certificate and load it in the IPOCC server.

@derfloh I don't have a primary server or application server, it's only the IP500 that I have and want to integrate it with the IPOCC.

I think the expired certificate is for communication between the IP500 and IPOCC.

I will disable the certificate validation for the IPOCC extension on the IPO when I get to site.

THANKS A BUNCH

@intrigrant I tried that before and it didn't work.

Thanks @derfloh, I will try that out. Also does it mean I will fill in the parameters as describe in the attached guide?

Hi @derfloh,

thank you for your time.
I generated the certificate as directed and it applied successfully.
BUT
1. I still can't call the Avaya Contact Center extension number
2. On the IPO System Status I still have "Certificate Expired".

What could still be the cause?

After restarting the IPO 500 the error is no more.

THANKS GUYS

You never dial the IPOCC extension directly, you dial it through a shortcode
