Hi Oracle Gurus,

I have been using Reports for a couple of months now. I have a report that prints out packing slips. Obviously, these packing slips have to be printed on one side of the page, that is, duplex printing is not a good idea. How do I make sure that this report prints out one-sided, not duplex.
Is there any property setting etc that needs to be changed?? This is a bit urgent, so any help is really appreciated.

Thanks

I suppose you should change printer settings, not report.

That would be a last resort... because then, all the printouts that the clients send will be one sided and the other reports need to be two-sided.
If there is any way in which the one-sidedness can be programmed into the report itself, that will be great...

Thanks

I suppose you may try to use different .prt file (before report <gen_string>). Though you should create one for each printer being used. I can not provide more details, because they're printer-specific.

Thanks Dima

I'll try that out and let you know. BTW, would you be able to help if I had silly questions on how to do this, considering I am new to Reports?? I promise I will try it myself first...
:)

I will not answer silly questions anyway :).
I won't answer the questions, if the answer may be found in online help using keyword search for keywords mentioned above.

Regards, Dima
