This may seem simple but where do I find the version and UR number that my 3300 is using?

If I type version in maintenance commands I get the following.

>>>> VERSION of Saved Software <<<<
3300 ICP Call Control 38.0.5.11

If this is it, how do I read it? I think I have 8.0 but not sure if any updates have been applied.

Thanks All

What release would that be? UR1 or 2?

8.0.5.12 was the inital GA release of 8.0 (no UR), so if you have 8.0.5.11, maybe you got a field trial release? If you go into ESM (web interface, System Administration Tool), at the bottom of the screen there is a "About System Administration" link. click on that, a new window will pop up showing the current software release. 8.0.5.12 is the inital 8.0 release, 8.0.7.16_2 is UR1, 8.0.8.8 is UR3, UR3 isn't out yet but I have a field trial release that's marked as 8.0.9.18.

I need to proofread better, 8.0.8.8 is UR2, not UR3.

Thats wierd. That shows 8.0.5.12

When I do upgrade to UR3 will I need to install UR1 first or is UR3 cumulative?

thanks for yoru help.

ok, so you have the GA release of 8.0. I've found that the SX-2000 interface version and ESM versions don't always match up.

You should have no issues going straight from 8.0 to UR3, but it's always best to check the release notes just to be sure.
