Subject says it all...

Thanks everyone.

All X11 Release 23+ are "IP enabled...to a certain extend"
All X21 Release 1+ are IP enabled...

By IP enabled, you're meaning VoIP...then at a minimum you need to be on R25.40B X11 and licensed for H323 Trunking and have Basic IP user license...

Look at you keycode data sheet for the heading or go to LD22 and type SLT for the data

Thanks! Here's the info on the Internet Phones from LD 22 SLT
Internet Telephones 0 LEFT 0 USED 0

Let me clarify a little more. I need to know if our switch support H323. We won't be using VOIP phones in our office at all.

We are looking into purchasing an application that talks H323 and then can be translated to TDM for the switch to understand. Do we need some sort of voice gateway or if the switch can understand H323 to TDM, then we're in good shape. I just need to find out what our switch is cable of.

How do I find out which release I'm on and if it supports H323 to TDM for the switch to understand?

Thanks in advance everyone!

LD 22 at the REQ prompt type ISS will give you your release and version info

SLT from the REQ prompt in the same overlay will give you your license info for that PBX.

Look for the line that say ITG ISDN Trunks ...you'll see this on X11 R25.40B PBX. On this release you can do H323 trunking via ITG Trunks cards

or look for the line that say H.323 Access port ...this will be on X21 R3.0+

X21 R1.0+ H323 Trunking is done via the Signalling Server...there were some exception, but now you're getting into how Nortel brand their crap.

VERSION 3011
RELEASE 25
ISSUE 30 + MDCS02 NA00

I don't see any ITG ISDN via either of those prompts.
