This is so basic and perhaps too user-specific to get an answer, but I am so lost I'll give it a go.

I am the 1st and only person in my office to try and write Crystal reports from our AS400 application. I have done lots of work in Crystal for a different application, but this is my first attempt with AS400.

When I begin, I cannot seem to find where the AS400 data resides to 'make new connection'. How do I find the location and name of my AS400 tables (I know the individual table names, just not where they are all stored so Crystal sees them.)

Using Crystal 10

Additionally, you need to use the ODBC application that ships with your DB system. I've written a few reports on AS400 for a client and it's not a walk in the park. I have a walk through in my home office I'll try to post next week.

Thanks for the link!

Before getting this link I was able to set up a connection that lets me run the existing CR 10 reports that were created before, but I am not able to create new reports or add new tables to existing ones because the list of AS400 tables does not appear.

I did not do all (not nearly as many!) of the steps in the link you provided .... But, since I can access the AS400 thru CR the way I did it, do you think there may be an easier way to get the list of tables? I hate to go thru all that and destroy what I have now!
