Is there a way to enable Preview Pane for all folders such as Inbox,Deleted Items,Sent Items, Personal Folders, etc...I know how to do each individually. I need to know if there is a way to setup everything to showup in Preview Pane WITHOUT having to do each Item at a time ? This is in Outlook 2000 or Outlook 2003 -- I have both versions of Outlook and an answer on either version is greatly apprecaited.

Thanks,

he

That has to be set on an individual folder basis. However, before you do that, remember that the preview pane actually OPENS the incoming email. Not a real good idea in theis age of Spam, porn, and viruses.

I asked for a solution and only a solution. I am very aware of consequences. If you don't know How To do NOT respond. I am only seeking solutions.

Hi estradahe,

I too don't have a (direct) solution. But I do believe you'll appreciate learning about the "grease that turns the wheels" here at Tek-Tips" - and will assist in encouraging would-be contributors to "dig deep" in order to craft a solution to your problem or for others.

The "grease"... One (important) aspect you and some others who are relatively new to Tek-Tips overlook initially, and in some cases for a LONG time... is the "proper" method of "saying thanks" to contributors who provide "a valuable post." Please note the "link" in the bottom-left-corner of each contributor's posting - "*Thank _______ for this valuable post!". Clicking the link results in "awarding a Purple STAR".

Please appreciate that contributors receive NOTHING else except for this type of "thank you".

Just thought you would appreciate knowing of the above. Please don't award me a STAR for my info. I feel a need to say this as I don't want a STAR for just letting you know about "how the system works". ;-)

Regards, Dale Watson
